British Council — Alchemy

A touring exhibition in the Middle East of British jewellery by eight designers who all challenge the conventional parameters of jewellery design. The title, Alchemy refers to the belief that low grade metals can be turned into gold. We were asked to design the overall identity for the exhibition along with the catalogue, promotional material and exhibition graphics. The identity focused on the various discarded objects and offcuts that could be found in a jewellery workshop and highlighted them in gold.
