Typocircle: Dave Buonaguidi
Last week we went to St Brides Library for the Typocircle talk by Dave Buonaguidi. Dave has worked in advertising for over 30 years and has founded three design studios, St Lukes, 4 creative and Karmarama. He is now the founding partner at Unltd-Inc, a small creative agency that often works with start ups.
Alongside this, Dave is also an artist. His instantly recognisable prints pair bold typography with vintage maps, his own photography and other pop culture imagery. Dave came across screen printing when taking a year long break from the advertising industry and was looking for another creative outlet.
He spoke about his new book, Blah! Blah! Blah!, which is part memoir part advice guide, and follows the journey of his career.
