Courtville — Brand Development
Identity
Established in 1952, Courtville specialises in high-end antique and vintage jewellery. Based in a historic townhouse in Dublin city centre, the Irish business has an international reach, regularly exhibiting at trade shows in Miami, Las Vegas and New York.
Courtville brings a youthful and contemporary perspective to the ancient trade of jewellery dealing, and felt the time was right for a full company rebrand. The new identity needed to reflect the expectations of a high-end clientele while celebrating the eclectic and distinctive pieces of jewellery the company is known for. The client wanted the identity to mix the old with the new, touching upon the idea of ‘The Grand Tour’, a travel phenomenon popular amongst young aristocracy in the 18th century, who were wanting to discover the cultural wonders of Europe, it’s art, antiquities and architecture. Often bringing back souvenirs to commemorate their trip.
Alongside the new brand identity, we worked with Courtville to develop a cohesive set of applications, including a packaging range, website design and social media templates.
